The Upper School Science Teacher assumes responsibility for providing learning experiences in science and supervision of students in a supportive and positive college preparatory climate which develops in each student the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to meet and exceed expectations in the classroom. Achieving academic excellence requires the teacher to work collaboratively with other members of the school faculty, staff, and with parents.  

 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in a science field is required. Capable of instructing Upper School science classes with previous teaching experience is strongly preferred.  

 

Successful teaching experience in a classroom environment.  Teaching experience including AP science courses is preferred, but not required. To view the full job description, please click here.
