Reasons to Give

The Fund for Excellence encompasses all philanthropic giving at WPS.  This is the general fund to which all other giving flows, and it is crucial in terms of maintaining the level of excellence provided by Worcester Prep.  While tuition covers the daily operating budget of the school, capital and technological upgrades would not be possible without the dedicated parents, alums, grandparents, Trustees, faculty and staff who support this fund through annual giving and yearly fundraisers.  The school’s ability to meet and exceed the yearly Fund for Excellence goal, allows tuition to remain low while still affording the school necessary upgrades and advances.

  • To Honor

    Each year, the students of Worcester Prep interact with the many faculty and staff members who govern our classrooms and help shape our curriculum.  The relationships that form from these interactions are rooted in inspiration, trust and respect, with many lasting long after a student graduates.  As these teachers retire, we invite you to honor them with a gift in their name.  Designate your gift in the name of a faculty member as a way of saying thank you!

  • To Grow

    As our school grows in numbers, so does the campus stretch to meet its need.  Gifts to the Annual Fund help Worcester Prep update and improve all aspects of our facilities and academic programs.  Over the past few years, your gifts have funded major upgrades to campus technology and connectivity, while also improving our athletic fields with press boxes, irrigation and Bermuda grass.

  • To Remember

    Over the years our school has been unbelievably fortunate to welcome faculty members, students and friends of the highest caliber and character into our community. While some have been taken too soon from our WPS family, their memories live on in the hallways of our school and laughter of our students. Your donation can honor the memory of one of these beloved individuals by designating your gift as a memorial tribute.
