WPS Supports Operation We Care

Berlin, MD – Last week, Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) students collected donations in support of the local non-profit organization, Operation We Care. Items collected are to be wrapped into care packages and sent to deployed military and first responders.

As we enter the holiday season, Worcester Prep proudly supports Operation We Care. Students collected many items from granola bars, canned pasta, powdered drink mixes, playing cards, baby wipes, toothpaste, and much more.

Operation We Care was founded in 2007 by Jeff and Diana Merritt. Jeff and Diana own Minuteman Press in Salisbury, MD, and are assisted by many volunteers. They pack over 2,000 care packages a year that are sent to deployed troops. Operation We Care strives to support active duty and veteran military through care packages, events, and various assistance outlets.
