Middle and Lower School Friendship Building Activity

Berlin, MD – Prior to the Thanksgiving Break, middle school students visited the Lower School to collaborate with younger peers in crafting candy cane reindeer. This engaging project was part of this year's Middle School advisory program. The program focuses on personal growth and community building to successfully nurture connections across grade levels, resulting in an enjoyable experience for all participants.

WPS kindergartners Carter Nichols (Berlin, MD) and Charlie Tyndall (Berlin, MD) had a fantastic time with 7th grader Raia Gorfinkel as they crafted candy cane reindeer.
WPS kindergartner Brooks Luckenbaugh (Rehoboth Beach, DE) and 7th grader Landon Carmean (Georgetown, MD) enjoyed a delightful time together while crafting a candy cane reindeer.
WPS 7th graders Isabella Rice (Bishopville, MD) and Teagan Weinstein (Ocean City, MD) collaborated with kindergartners Liam McGuinness (Rehoboth Beach, DE), Bella Baker (Salisbury, MD), and Lily Moore (Berlin, MD) in creating candy cane reindeer.
WPS 3rd graders Blaise DiFebo (left, Millville, DE) and Roshan Chapla (Salisbury, MD) made new friends with 8th grader Ted Timmons (Dagsboro, DE) while assembling candy cane reindeer.
WPS 3rd grader Wesley Weeth (Rehoboth Beach, DE) and 6th grader Dax Phillips enjoyed each other's company while making candy cane reindeer together.
