Two WPS Athletes Commit to Play Collegiate Sports

Berlin, MD – On November 15, 2021 two of Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) senior student-athletes, Myranda Beebe of Rehoboth Beach, DE., and Brice Richins of Berlin, MD., signed their Letters of Intent to play sports in college.  Beebe signed to play Division III Women's Lacrosse at Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania. Richens signed to play Division I Men’s Lacrosse at High Point University in North Carolina where he received an athletic scholarship.
 
Myranda and Brice are both standout, student-athletes who were honored in a ceremony at school surrounded by their family, friends, coaches, and administrators.  Myranda earned a spot on the WPS Head of School List throughout her Upper School years at WPS and is a member of the Charles R. Jenkins Chapter National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. In addition to playing WPS Lacrosse, Myranda has also excelled on the WPS Girls Basketball and Soccer teams. Myranda is the daughter of Patrick and Tammy Beebe.

Brice also holds a spot on the WPS Head of School List in his Upper School years and is a member of the Charles R. Jenkins Chapter National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society. As well as playing WPS Lacrosse, Brice has also been talented on the WPS Boys’ Basketball and Soccer teams. Brice is son of Gary and Kimberly Richins, and younger brother to Cooper (WPS ’19) and Wyatt Richins (’16).
