Berlin, MD – In a ceremony on Wednesday, November 13, the Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) Charles R. Jenkins Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) inducted 33 new members, and four new members into the prestigious William E. Esham, Jr. Chapter of the prestigious Cum Laude Society.
2024 WPS NHS Inductees: Preston Adkins, Jude Anthony, Anisha Batra, Samantha Bontempo, Jake Campbell, Max Carpenter, Stephen Carullo, Kain Crossett, Grant Crothers, Catherine Cullen, Jude Damouni, Dawson Davis, Marina Farlow, Jeremy Forman, Chase Ginnavan, Beckett Green, Joshua Greulich, Micheal Hebert, Renata Lovitt, Paxton Mault, Sydney Mize, Jay Moyer, Tyler Netting, Jamie Nguyen, Olivia Owens, Savannah Palmisano, Lena Parker, Emily Patrowicz, Isabella Spangenberg, Jake Timmons, Sydney Todorov, Alicia Walker and Ayla Yonker.
The new Cum Laude inductees are Danielle Carr (’25), Jackson Fernley (’25), Lydia Schwartz (’25) and Allen Zhang (’25).
The Cum Laude Society is a national organization founded in 1906 that honors the world’s academic excellence in secondary schools to promote excellence (Arete´), justice (Dike´), and honor (Time´). WPS is the only school on the Eastern Shore with an established Cum Laude Chapter where superior scholastic achievement is honored.
