WPS Lower School Meet Santa to Give Gifts for Diakonia
Berlin, MD – On Tuesday, December 17, Worcester Preparatory School’s (WPS) Lower School eagerly lined up to visit Santa and give gifts to those in need at Diakonia.
Each Lower School student (Pre-K through Grade 5) arrived in the dining hall with a wrapped gift, or several, and handed them personally to Santa to distribute at Diakonia. Hundreds of gifts were donated to Diakonia’s homeless shelter in West Ocean City, Maryland, which provides emergency and transitional housing, food services, and counseling for its guests.
Thank you to our Lower School students, families, and Diakonia staff and volunteers for all their hard work and support.
