WPS Lower School Students Acknowledged for Participating in the National Garden Club Poster Contest
Berlin, MD – On Monday, February 26, the Worcester County Garden Club recognized Worcester Prep Lower School students for their artwork in the National Garden Club's annual Smokey the Bear and Woodsy Owl Youth Poster Contest.
Worcester County Garden Club representative Joanne Kirby recognized 1st grader Nicole Sebastian (Berlin, MD), 3rd grader Hristina Gjoni (Ocean City, MD), and 4th graders Tobi Blaska (Ocean City, MD) and Aaralyn Lillquist (Selbyville, DE) for their participation in the National Garden Club’s annual poster contest. The Worcester County Garden Club has chosen to sponsor each student in the contest, presenting each student with participation certificates and gift bags. The national contest winners will be named in March.
